Wishful Drinking
Volunteered at The Geffen Theatre in Westwood.
For the matinee performance of "Wishful Drinking" starring Carrie Fisher .
I volunteered as an usher in the balcony.
The play was really funny, and I really enjoyed it.
On my way home, I stopped off for dinner at the Newsroom Cafe on Robertson in Beverly Hills.
They have really great healthy food.
I had the Chicken Pot Pie. It was very healthy, and very good. Perfect food for the cold weather we have been having.
Shopping for Computer Stuff
I've been hanging out at Fry's Electronics in Burbank alot.
Trying to get some of the Christmas deals.
My two new purchases:
The
Canon A630 Powershot .... 8 megapixals !
and
The Canon Pixma MP830 Printer ...prints, scans and copies
As you can tell, I like Canon products the best.
The Canon Pixma MP830 Printer is pretty big. I couldn't lift it to put it in my car.
There was a nice stranger, who came over in the parking lot and put it in the car for me.
I was alittle embarrassed that I couldn't lift it.
So Thank you, nice person in the parking lot of Fry's Electronics!

Happy Feet 
I went to the Arclight Cinemas today.
Saw Happy Feet in the Cinerama Dome.
What a cute movie !
Elijah Wood makes a great penguin.
And penguins are just so cute.
The dancing and the music really had me going. I really enjoyed it.
Thanksgiving Dinner

... And I made orangy cranberry sauce 
Our hostess made homemade apple pie ...
and another guest made pumpkin cheesecake
Yes, we had turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes too !

Doctor Appointment
Today was my scheduled check up with the Breast Cancer Doctor.
We have my "every six months" mammogram scheduled for February 2007.
I will probably have the cancer marker blood tests done then as well.
I am feeling good. My general health is good.
My last radiation treatment was December 29 2005.
But I still have some problems from time to time due to the radiation treatments I received.
There is swelling on the left side. And it just feels weird.
The doctor says that it is normal. Nothing unusual for someone who has had radiation treatments.
The main thing that bugs me is that me left hand and fingers will get a little poofy.
My left and right hand don't even look the same.
And now my skin seems to break out more on the left side. On my neck and shoulders and back.
I think because the left breast, and the area under my arm, were treated with radiation for the cancer, (and six lymph nodes were removed) - the liquid on my left side just doesn't flow naturally.
I have naturally oily skin, and I don't think the oil and the lymph fluid has any where to go.
So I break out.
My doctor recommended a dermatologist to see for my skin.
I guess if that is my worst complaint, then I am doing pretty good.
