 | I was a volunteer usher at the UCLA Frued Playhouse for The Reprise performance. Tonights performance was "No Strings" - a musical by Richard Rogers. Scott Bakula starred in this. So the show was sold out. |

The Dresden
Tonight, hung out at The Dresden in Los Feliz, to catch the music of Marty and Elayne.
I also tried their chicken quesadilla which was very good.
And a friend had a shrimp cocktail.
The place was getting really crowded just as as I was leaving.
I'm not much for the late, late crowd...

Diary of A Mad HouseWife
 | At the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. I saw Diary of A Mad Housewife from 1970. If you want to see an excellent movie from the 1970s - this is the one to see. And... Frank Langella was absolutely gorgeous in his younger days... Carrie Snodgress and Richard Benjamin are great in this too. The plot is that a bored housewife has an affair with a writer. To me it was like looking into a time machine, at many of the social and marital issues that happened in the 70s. A great glimpse into that time period.. |

Griffith Park Fire
Imagine my horror, when after just having a wonderful picnic in Griffith Park last Sunday....
I could clearly see the fire from where I live.
First, in the afternoon - we could see it from my office windows.
I ran some errands after work, and it looked like it was all over.
Then when I finished my errands, and came home - this is what I saw....

Picnic in Griffith Park
LA People Connection had a really fun picnic in Griffith Park today.
The weather was perfect, and we had lots of food.
I don't really go to alot of picnics. So today was extra fun.
