Hair cut and color
Ran into Fantastic Sams to get my hair trimmed.
I really wanted to get my haired dyed and cut at the salon in Studio City that I usually go to.
But right now, I am lacking both time and money.
I always find at Fantastic Sams, that they do a pretty good job if all you want is a trim.
It turned out nice, maybe an inch to short for my liking.
But my hair grows fast.
I decided to take a chance and just ask the stylist about dying my hair.
"I would like it a medium brown, like my natural color - and make sure to color the grey."
The hairdresser replied "No, no - you need to go lighter. Blonder. With highlights or streaks to help cover the grey."
Ok.... no, thank you ...not today..
No sense in even talking to her, if she is not going to do my hair the way I want it. I'm the one who has to live with the hair color day after day...
After that I ran over to Sally's Beauty Supplies .
I picked up some Clairol Beautiful .
Its an easy temporary color that lasts about eight shampoos.
You have to buy it at a Beauty Supply Store.
I like to use it if I am in a rush, and my hair color needs to be touched up.
Also, it doesn't stink like the hair dye you buy at the drug store. It has a very light smell.
Very easy to use.
And I got some plastic gloves.... now I am ready for pretty hair.
