The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada is my favorite movie of the year.

This is so funny. And Meryl Streep is beyond perfect in her role as the bitchiest boss in the world.
I am hoping she gets another Oscar nomination for her perfect performance. It is difficult to do comedy, and do it so outstanding and realistic that it is also a great dramatic performance.

Meryl Streep's scenes with her new employee, played by Anne Hathaway , are brilliant.

I also loved the supporting characters played by Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci .

I saw this at a preview screening on a movie studio lot. As we came out, the Security Guard - a big husky macho guy - was saying "I know zero about the fashion business, but that was a funny movie !"
