I dreamt I was a little girl again
Rode my bike to the park cause I wanted to play
But two lovers were there
making up over a fight
they had the other day
So I rode on home
The silent fight you and I had
We didn't say a word
and that was all we had
We talked with our eyes
But you never saw me cry
I was to proud
and now I wonder why
And there is made a law
to destroy all Christmas trees
And all the Knights fall to their knees
Praying to a God who doesn't exist
which makes them all hypocrites
Then she turned around
and finds
shes being followed down the hall
The silent fight we didn't need to say
I wish it could be another way
The silent love we used to share
I wish it was still there
and if I ever say I'm sorry
will that ever change the story ?
But about this I will have to worry
because I'm sorry
I never said a word
And I turned around
and you were found
following me down the hall
