The Last Day of Summer

The last day of summer has finally come
I'm glad because it was
so dull

I didn't do
all I wanted to
Didn't change
so I could impress you

The last day of summer is finally here
And now I will start
my junior year

I know my life has to change
I have to make things rearrange

And as I sit here
on this last day
I'm kinda glad
it all turned out this way
My summer was filled with
plenty of thought
That an exciting summer
could not have bought
So I'm looking forward
to my junior year
Older and wiser
On to my best year
