I Work Hard to Rock and Roll

Its an accounting job, but I work hard all day
And theres only one way I'll spend my pay
I want to go and groove, and dance and move
I want to tell you, what I want to do

I wanna rock, rock, rock and roll
I wanna go, go, go, go, go
I wanna rock, rock, rock and roll
I work hard so I can Rock and roll

Its five days a week, with hours eight to five
There's only one way I'd put up with that jive
When I'm done at work, you know whats next
Put away the pencils and head for the discotheque

I wish I could dance all day and rock all night
But I really wanna do things right
So I punch the clock in, do the accounting thing
But when I punch the clock out, its go-go and swing

I wanna rock, rock, rock and roll
I wanna go, go, go, go, go
I wanna rock, rock, rock and roll
I work hard so I can Rock and roll

I work really hard, crunchin' numbers all day
Bean countin' is how I earn my pay
But when the day is done, turn the PC off
Dance with the night life
Twist, twist and shout !
