Flight

I need you like the dolphins need the ocean
like the sand needs the sea
I need you like a boat needs a harbor
I want you right next to me
Like the stars need the moons reflection
Just like darkness needs the light
I need you like the Angels need to hear our prayers
Before they can take off on flight...

You lift me up and make me fly
You lift me up above the clouds
I'm soaring high above the moutains
Soaring high and singing loud

I need you like a car needs an engine
Before it can be driven on the road
Just like a train needs the railroad tracks
I want you to take me home
Like a flower longs for sunshine
After a cold dark winters night
I need you like a sparrow needs to spread its wings
Before it can take off on flight...

You lift me up and make me fly
You lift me up above the clouds
I'm soaring high above the moutains
Soaring high and singing loud

I need you like I need cold water
after running up a hill
I've loved you since time started
And you know I always will
I need you like a candle needs a match
So it can shine its light
Just like a butterfly needs to shed its caccoon
Before it can take off on flight...

You lift me up and make me fly
You lift me up above the clouds
I'm soaring high above the moutains
Soaring high and singing loud
