Do It Again

My sanctified body
isn't working for me
I still end up
tired and lonely
How can I ascend the clouds
When all around me holds me down

Read a book to open my mind
Say a prayer to heal the pain
Sacrifice for heavenly gains
I've done it before
and I'll do it again

When this enlightened life
is going nowhere
When I'm lost and it seems
that no one cares
When I try to reach inside of me
I just end up in my own misery

Open a book to teach my mind
Send a Rosary out to the wind
The repitition will heal my sin
I've done it before
and I'll do it again

Go out, Go out
Don't look inside
Look up, Look up
Open your spirit up wide
The answer is never inside of you
You have to reach out
to make it through

So when you are lost
what you are seeking, you can't find
When working hard
has made you loose your mind
We have to work this all out
our entire lives
To get it right
we will be forced to strive

Read a book to open my mind
Say a prayer to heal the pain
Sacrifice for heavenly gains
I've done it before
and I'll do it again
