The final night of Alien Madness at The Aero Theatre , which was presented by the Visual Effects society .
Tonights movies were:
Lifeforce from 1985
and
The Thing from 1982
I love movies from the 1980's. And if you have never seen John Carpenter's The Thing, I highly recommend it.
It stars Kurt Russell .
And after Alien and Aliens, it was my favorite sci-fi movie in this series.
Friday Alien Madness
Back over to The Aero Theatre for Alien Madness, which was presented by the Visual Effects society .
Tonights screenings are:
Forbidden Planet from 1956
and
The Day the Earth Stood Still from 1951
The best thing of the entire evening was the Robot display that the Visual Effects Society set-up in lobby.
Both Gort and Robby were there. And I got my pictures taken with them.

Thursday Alien Madness
I was originally not scheduled to volunteer tonight. Four nights in a row at the movies is a bit much, even for me.
But after thinking about it, I could not resist volunteering for more Alien Madness movies.
So over to The Aero Theatre for Alien Madness, which was presented by the Visual Effects society .
Tonights movies were "The Thing From Another World", from 1951 and "It! The Terror from Beyond Space" , from 1958.
