More Oscar Stuff & More Volunteering
Talk about a crazy day !
This morning, I volunteered for more Oscar pre-events over at The Egyptian Theatre .
They hosted the Oscar Nominated Editors and the Oscar Nominated Art Directors.
Each doing a Q&A and talking about their films.
The theatre was really full, so I had some time to walk around and take pictures of the Oscar Ceremony set-up just down the street at Hollywood and Highland .
Some of my friends were hanging out at Lickety Split and surfing the internet on the free wireless.
I decided to walk around Hollywood & Highland and grab my lunch up there.
When I got down there, I realized that the red carpet was all set-up, and you could see alot of the decorations.
So I called one friend on his cell phone, and he joined me and we ended up walking around.
We had to go back for a second shift of volunteering over at the Egyptian for the second Q&A.
Then I had to hop in the car and drive to Santa Monica to volunteer at The Aero Theatre for this evening's event.
They were showing the movie Young Frankenstein . That is such a funny film.
And Teri Garr was speaking and doing a Q&A after the movie.
That was another fun and crazy night.
Oscars 2006
Yes, I have been terribly behind on posting to my blog.
But I have a "Stop the Press" announcement !
I was walking around Hollywood Blvd today, and took some great pictures of the Oscars 2006 set-up on Hollywood Blvd.

The Oscar
I saw a great movie this evening over at The Egyptian Theatre .
It was from 1966, and the title is "The Oscar" .
A film about a Hollywood Actor's desire to win an Oscar Statue.
The best part was that actress Elke Sommer was there afterwards doing a Q&A.
She had alot of interesting stories to tell about this film, and her other films.

Glasses
One of the downfalls of getting old ... Reading Glasses.
I've had my reading glasses for a year and a half, so I was due for my eye exam anyway.
And lately my eyes have been watering and burning - which means my eyes are straining.
So off I went to the eye doctor and had my eye exams. And got a new prescription for new glasses.
Exercise
Can you say .... Salsa Aerobics ?
I actually caught a class at 24 Hour Fitness called Salsa Aerobics.
Its aerobic class moves set to Salsa Music with lot of hip swinging, and shimmying.
I managed to do 45 minutes of a one hour class, before I tired out.
