I finally decided to get rid of all the Pink on my website. I was inspired by my new color headshots. First, I made a decision to get rid of the blond hair, and I went brunette. Then, I canceled my agreement with my former agent and am currently looking for a new agent. I got new headshots done at Frick Photography and they turned out great ! I had plenty of different looks to choose from. The one I decided to use for the website is in a red blouse, and it just didn't look right against all the pink I used to have on the website. So after nearly 4 years, it was time to refurbish the Index page. I am still putting the finishing touches on it. I hope you like the new red and dark grey look!

Last Friday, I saw a fantastic concert ! Peter Frampton and Styx ! Am I dating myself ? Am I showing my age ? It was great to see Peter Frampton live. I remember when I was in high school and one of my close friends had a huge crush on him and would mail him letters. I still remember that the address was on Wilshire Blvd. Little did I know that as an adult I would drive down Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills on a regular basis - probably right past that address that my friend would write to.


Now, I never really had listend to Styx very much in the past. But after the concert was over, I was raving to everyone that it had to be the best concert I had ever seen. The lights, the sound, the musicians - incredible ! The new Styx keyboardist,
Lawrence Gowan is absolutely the best. His keyboard is on a platform that spins around in a circle, and he dances all over the stage. He really makes the concert.


What was really funny was - when I arrived at the concert I realized I forgot my earplugs. And I have hearing problems, so I had to go to the Nurse to get earplugs. I was saying to my friends
"Gee, I really do show my age - I go to a rock concert, and the first thing I have to do is see the Nurse !" Well, after Styx brought out a huge wall of amplifiers, I was very glad I had the
earplugs - because it was loud ! And really good ! I could have stayed and listened for another two hours !

If Styx plays by your city, I really recommend you go to the concert. You will have a great time.

Oh, I have a sad story to tell....but it has a happy ending.

I was on my way home from church a few weeks back. I stopped of to get lunch at a place I shouldn't be eating....Arbys Roast Beef.
As I pull out of the drive-thru, I see a cute little white dog...long haired terrier type. And he is wearing one of those big huge plastic medical collars shapped like a cone that the vet wraps around their neck so they don't pull out their stitches.
In addition to this... its like 100 degrees in the shade, and its absolutely roasting out.The poor little guy was wandering down Sunset Blvd in Hollywood... which is a very busy street.... in the horrid heat with a plastic cone around his head.


Right away, I just said to heck with the rest of my plans for the day. I went around the block and managed to meet up with the pooch on a side street. He got most of my french fries, sandwich and bottled water.

Then I got on my cell phone to call Animal Control.
I hate the idea of taking an animal into a city shelter - but I have a 9 year old cat who would be terrified if I brought a dog home.


Usually I hate driving the freeways, but I got on the freeway to take him to the Downtown LA Animal
shelter. I filled out the paperwork, and dropped him off.


My car stunk to high heaven. I had to place dryer-sheets all over the inside of the car to get rid of the smell. He must have been lost for a while !


Los Angeles Animal Control was really good about putting the dogs picture up on their website. It was there right away.


The next day I called the Los Angeles Times
and placed a free "Dog Found" ad. Then I also put a note on Craigslist and Petfinder.org.


By Wednesday though, his picture was gone. I called up the Shelter and said I was the person who found him. They told me his owners had come and taken him home !


A happy ending, and that cute little pooch is no longer alone on the dangerous streets of Los Angeles !
